So many food events….
And I have to miss them! I’ll be up in Delaware this weekend for the wedding of a dear college friend, and I’m so excited! I’ll be seeing friends that I haven’t seen since college (5 years ago!).
However, if you are in DC this weekend, there are two really cool sounding food events taking place. The first is a grey market at Local 16. This market will feature food from local brand new businesses, so new they aren’t yet licensed. There’ll be a meat auction, baked goods etc. I wonder if you might even be able to find some raw milk!
The second is the 2nd annual Sound Bites charity event for DC Central Kitchen. This will take place at the 9:30 club and on V St, the $40 ticket gets you entry and samples of over 25 restaurants and food trucks. Inside local bands will be playing all night.
