Sadly, my phone/camera has had some mechanical difficulties and I’m unable to share photos with you of my weekend.
Tumbling without photos seems somehow wrong so I’ll keep it short
1. You must try the Rickey Bobby at the Passenger, gin, lime juice and ginger beer… it’s perfection!
2. The Eat Local DC farm to street fest was no good, and unfortunately a waste of money. With only two stalls with savory options, it just didn’t have much worth eating.
3. The Grey DC market on Sunday was pretty good though! They had about 25 vendors selling everything from flavored pop corn to home made pickled okra to crunkcakes. I’m really hoping to work with them more as I love love love their mission.
4. pie crust is hard to make! any suggestions on whether to prebake crust or not? is it necessary?
