I just spent a lovely hour with some coworkers eating lunch at this new spot. I couldn’t really take photos, but I plan to go back soon and I’ll get some photos next time.
This place opened up in an adorable alley just past 9th and N st. NW. To me it has sort of a California vibe, light wood tables jars of spices and brining vegetables as decoration, and a very laid back feel. Their sandwich menu is really diverse with some great flavors. I had the Beirut sandwich, with gorgeous tender skirt steak, hummus, mint and pickled vegetables, as well as their potato salad, which has some nice Indian flavorings.
My coworkers both had the Buenos Aires, steak chimicurri and onions, I’m totally trying that next time!
This place is a bit out of the way, and they are only a couple of weeks old, so service is still a bit slow, but I really enjoy the concept and can’t wait to head back sooN!
